Organized by the Experimental sounding rocket association. Additional challenge hosted by the Space Dynamics Laboratory.
The goal is to build launch and retrieve in re-launchable condition, a high powered rocket to an altitude of 10,000 feet carrying a 10 lb payload with a practical and worthwhile engineering application. Judging is based upon design and fabrication, a poster presentation and other written deliverables, as well as launch and payload performance.
The team meets at 3pm on Sunday afternoons in the Whitney center classroom for now but will likely migrate to Rowan hall once fabrication begins.
